It finally happened...

I knew as soon as I became a mom that someday I would be faced with a child who stuck something up their nose. Well yesterday was that day. I was driving my kids as well as their friend Mason Renslow to pre-school when all of a sudden in the middle of Hwy 60 Isaac started shouting and Ethan calmly said Isaac has a bead in his nose. I immediately pulled the van over and went to the back where he was. Sure enough a bead from the cub scouts that I teach was in his right nostril. I plugged the other and had him blow. Luckily it came out fairly easy with a lot of snot. It would have been so much fun to have to take him to the emergency room like that, I'm sure they get enough cases like that.

Haha, I had my first "something up the nose" experience two days ago!!! Andrew stuck a pea up his nose.. I thought he was joking when he told me, but nope, there was a pea up there! Thankfully it also came out easily... I hope we won't have any more of those- for awhile at least ;)

That is hilarious!!! Kutter did that once when he was threeish. He stuck a styrofoam ball up his nose and it was pretty dang hard to get out. But he learned his lesson and now keeps his sister on the straight and narrow in regards to placing objects in her nose. Great story, thanks for sharing!!
