Since this blog is mainly so I can have a record of the boys growing up I decided that I need to document how smart the boys are (not to brag or anything). Since they are twins I started having them count to ten to share since they could talk and they are really good at it now; in fact they pretty much can count to twenty with a few repeated numbers. Isaac likes the number 17. They can say their ABC's because that's another way that we share easily. They have known their colors and shapes for a long time. And my favorite thing that they can do now is spell their names. We sing the B.I.N.G.O. song and replace it with their names; they love it. They're so smart they must take after their daddy.

Last week Ethan and Isaac's cousins went to Disney World in Florida and brought them back Mickey Mouse ears. Isaac loved his so much that he wore it all the time for 3 days.
Derek has been in Virginia for the last 3 days for work and the boys have been a bit rowdy since he has been gone. Right after he left in the middle of the night on Monday morning Ethan woke up crying because he wanted to be baptized; at first I couldn't tell what he was crying about since it was so unexpected. He was even more distraught when I told him he could when he was 8; he wanted to be baptized now. Last night I took them to their very first Cub Scout derby car race. We built our own Swiss cheese car with mice on board. I will have to take pictures of it later.

Since I went to Utah I have had inspiration to make new crafts! I saw both of these in a craft store and thought I could make those but yet it came out a different version because I couldn't find the same wood or wooden monkey; so I painted curious George on the one board that is going about the boys window, I thought it was more appropriate for their personalities. The other one is slightly different with the coloring and such. I was so excited after doing them I thought I would share.

It is so hard to find a good price on boys church clothes I was so excited to find some at Ross last Tuesday. Isaac was so excited to wear a tie like Daddy he wanted to wear his suit as soon as we got home.

I am now 14 weeks pregnant; which is 3 months and 2 weeks. The good news is that I am not as nauseous as I was last month and the bad news is that I have a cold and still feel sick but with different symptoms! We do have a count down until the 5 month ultrasound! It is going to be April 23rd at 3:00. So I will let you know then what this baby will be. I am nervous and excited all at the same time.

Last weekend we went to Utah for baby Brennan's blessing with the whole family in a 15 passenger van. It was 8 hours each way with 5 boys. Luckily it wasn't that bad and the boys did really well. They actually stayed dry and clean most of the trip. We went to the zoo and a very nice and fancy restaurant.

The boys had a very bad day on Saturday. I didn't take pictures of the actual act but this was the consequences.
Instead of taking a nap or being quiet during their quiet time they went #2 in their underwear took it off and rubbed it into the carpet, on the walls and on the door. This is their 3rd time at this so they struck out; it has never been this bad however. So, they lost their toys, blankets (their little ones that they take every where), and grandma's stories that they listen to every night. They are slowly getting them back as prizes for good behavior. Hopefully they have learned their lesson.

Now that the word is out, here is the proof that there is only ONE baby. I am now 9 weeks pregnant; and I am way more nauseous this time. Hopefully I won't get huge soon.

We had a very Merry Christmas! The boys were so excited when they woke up! Ethan even pointed down the stairs at all the presents that Santa left for them.

Their favorite presents were the bulldozers and the inflatable trampoline (lets hope it doesn't pop soon). It was a lot of fun watching them open the presents and play with them; they are really able to have fun with Christmas and we are enjoying that.

Oh, I forgot to mention a cute thing that Isaac does. Derek and I both call him and Ethan buddy at different times. Now when Ethan gets hurt or is crying he leans over and says "it's okay buddy" or "sorry buddy" and gives him kisses and hugs. He also made a funny comment while we were eating dinner at Aunt Tammy's house. He leaned over to his cousin AJ and asked, "yummy AJ?".

We experienced a winter Blizard yesterday!!
This is a picture of our car barried in the snow! We had to dig it out and the snow around it was about 4 ft. deep. There was a lot of wind which made large snow banks that went to the top of our 6 ft. fence but left traces of the grass in our backyard.

The boys had so much fun playing in the snow all morning! They wanted us to throw them in the large banks; and they made forts with daddy in the backyard. The best thing that they were so excited about was that a bulldozer "front loader" was the thing that moved some of the snow in front of our driveway.

Ethan and Isaac love to finger paint. In fact they love it so much that that is all that they want to do most days. It's really messy, but hey they're only little once right.

The other thing that they boys love to do with daddy is put their favorite blankets on their heads and waists, and they dance around to music.
