Lizzie's tear duct

Lizzie went through a small surgery to unclog her right tear duct on Thursday. She was so good through the whole thing no crying what so ever. We went in at 6:50 a.m. and left at 8:00 a.m. I have to admit I was a little scared because she had to be asleep for it. She looks wonderful now. She hasnt teared since a couple of hours after the surgery.

Lizzie is ONE!!!

Happy Birthday Lizzie...
I can not believe how fast Lizzie has grown. She is pretty much running now especially when she is being chased by one of her big brothers. She has such a sweet and happy personality. She is smiling and laughing at everything except when it comes to food. She is a loud mouth when it comes to food; she can't get it in fast enough. She never wanted to eat baby food, she wants to be a big girl already. At church Lizzie was looking at Isaac and said "hi Isaat" while waving of course, she was so happy with herself that she started clapping. What a wonderful joy and blessing she has been.

Denver Downtown Aquarium

We had a lot of fun seeing the sharks and stingrays at the Aquarium. Ethan was even brave enough to touch the stingrays and Lizzie wanted to jump in the water with them. I attached a slideshow of the kids while we were in Denver. Since they thought it was a vacation they didn't want to go home.

Locked in the boys room

This morning in Johnstown my mom got locked in the boys bedroom, with all 3 kids and the 2 dogs. Anyway, my mom opened the window and took out the screen, put part of her body out of the window and started screaming help at the cars that were on there way to work below. One man in a truck stopped and she yelled it but couldn't remember the code to open the garage door. So he came back with a ladder and tried to open the door from the inside. Luckily they got out after 45 minutes or so. That was not one of the things that I was planning to happen this week, but maybe the boys will have a story to remember for the rest of their lives, and when we get home we will have to change the door knob.

Children's museum

So while the kids were still with us in Denver we went to the kid's museum. They loved it! Ethan and Isaac dressed up like possums and squirrels and paraded through and under tunnels. They also loved the construction part. They could stack bricks and paint window sills. They were also able to go to the zoo earlier last week. They loved that too, especially since Grandpa and Colton and Colby, their cousins came down too.
The boys also went wild with the pool in the apartment. Almost every night Derek took them to the pool and sometimes Carla, Lizzie and I would watch them. They are getting to be fish boys. The nice thing is that this week that the kids are down here it is like a mini vacation.

Walking Lizzie

She is off and practically running. She started walking back and forth to mommy and daddy at 9.5 months but she is really trying to make it her own now. I just can't believe how big she is trying to be. In not too much time she will already be a year old! But still what a sweet happy little girl. Almost ever picture that I take of her she has a great big grin on her face. This morning she woke up with this great big grin in her crib and started dancing when she realized we were awake. I will have to post pictures when I get home.

Birthday boys!

Ethan and Isaac are now 4!! They turned 4 on Tuesday the 17th, and we went to Denver since I had a doctor's appointment anyway. We went to the zoo and ate lunch and then we were going to go to the Children's museum but the boys wanted to come home and play with their new toys. We came home and ate a construction cake with Grandma Moogie and Grandma and Grandpa Child.

Tamaren Reunion

Last weekend my Aunt Janet came to Denver to visit. She got us a hotel room so that we could be down there for the weekend. On Friday we went to the zoo. And the next day we had a BBQ in the park.

birthday party fun

On the 11th Tammy and I joined the boys birthday party with Aleah whose birthday was on the 4th. We had a lunch picnic and cupcakes at a park in Loveland that has water squirting out of a great big windmill thing. It was way to windy that day so there was not that much running in the water. Despite all of that everyone enjoyed themselves. Aunt Deliese came with her kids; Mina, Billy, Krista, Jenny and David. We also invited Ethan and Isaac's friends Lexa Wright and Ayden Kelly. The picture is of Ethan, Ayden and Isaac; Lizzie was trying to grab the camera from me so it is a little blurry.

Pool Party

2 weeks ago our church had a pool party. They reserved a pool that had a huge water slide; the boys loved it!! They went down the slide with Derek about 6 times each and once each with Katie. We have water bugs in our mist!
